I’m wildly annoyed with myself.  I got the movie ‘Super Mario Bros’ from Netflix because even though it’s only like $7 in stores, I didn’t think it was worth paying any money for.  Unfortunately, I lost the disc.  So I tore apart the house looking for it and after a month I finally gave up and bought a copy off Amazon instead of spending the $20 Netflix wanted to charge to replace it.  Meanwhile, I haven’t been able to get any other discs during this month and a half now that this has all taken.  The new disc finally arrives in the mail, I open it up … and then accidentally found the missing disc in the boiler room in a box of other junk.  What???  How did it end up there?  So I sent it back and my Netflix rentals can resume.  But at the end of the day, I ended up buying my own copy of ‘Super Mario Bros,’ I rented it for a month and a half, and I still haven’t finished the stupid thing.  It’s the live action movie where the Mario brothers cross over into another dimension to fight dinosaur people.  It’s even lamer than it sounds.  Trust me.  Ug.

Heather’s foot is finally starting to get a little less sore.  It’s been almost three weeks and it’s only been the last day or two that she’s started to use just one crutch or no crutches.  It will still be a while before she’s 100%, but it’s definitely making life a little easier for her now that she can get around a little more.

I’m loving that Lost is back on, and while I like getting the history of the island, I’m kind of hoping the whole bouncing around in time ends soon.  I’m also loving my weekly dose of Heroes, The Office, and Battlestar Galactica.  Although, seriously, when did Gaida become such an insurrectionist?  My word, the man has gone crazy!

I haven’t played with my XBox in weeks, which is NOT cool.  Between Heather’s foot, youth group trips and retreats, and all the other chaos of this time of year, it just hasn’t been happening.  I’m going to have to do something about that!

  1. I just started playing Braid on the Xbox Arcade, and it's crazy addictive! I've almost got it beat, and I can't stop thinking about it! Download the Demo!
