Only dropped 2 this week but still that's 9 pounds in two weeks. So I'm happy. My wife dropped a total of 12 so she's halfway to her personal goal.
But tonight is Fat Tuesday and we're having a decadent dessert event at church tonight. So I'm going to splurge a little and enjoy!

Well I had just typed up this nice some what long post when my browser on my IPhone closed on me causing me to loose it!
I will paraphrase this time! 🙂 I lost 3 pounds this week and I'm really proud of myself! This is the beginning of the rest of my healthy life!
Please don't give up if you had a bad week or two! That was always me in the past. I've been lucky so far without one, but I know I will eventually and I will need all your support and encouragement! It is great to have each other! Great job this week everyone!
I'm off to two classes at the gym Cardio Funk Fusion and water aerobics! Maybe some hot tub time in between!

I guess my doctor was right about multiplying my weight by 10 to figure calorie intake need because I lost 3 pounds this week. 🙂 Wow, it feels great to know I am back on that 1% list again.
Good Luck everyone!!!

I've got to step it up I guess because I'm not losing much. I was used to losing 2-4 pounds a week and since I quit for that stupid show in December for a month I haven't lost that hardly at all! I'm going to either have to start working out two hours a day or cut my calories. I guess it doesn't help that I've been cheating on calories but not that much. My calorie intake should be 1400-1800 and I stay with 1500. Even when I cheat I certainly don't go above 1800 so something's gotta give. I can feel myself gaining muscle do to toning classes (Body Pump) but it's annoying that I'm staying in the high 220's. I want to lose all this weight by August 4th (my year mark) for sure but really I would like to lose it by the 21st of June, my 8th anniversary. At this point I cannot see that happening if I keep losing 1 pound a week or even staying the same or gaining a pound. I'm really frustrated right now.

I was wondering if anyone could give me the link to the site that was posted near the beginning of the challenge that listed a lot of different works outs with a place to add your weight and minutes you worked out and then it would calculate the number of calories you burned. Thanks for your help!

That is great Lisa way to go! I am frustrated staying the same but I have hurt my knee. I must have twisted it so I didn't work out as hard as I was. It's getting better. I am hoping by tomorrow to push hard all weekend.

Lisa, that is amazing! I am also on 8 weeks of losses. ( I started before the competition) It is exciting to see the slow but steady decline.
