  1. Wow, only 6 more weigh-ins to go! This time is flying by.

Good Luck on weigh-in everyone! I lost weight this week but not enough to be on the 1% list. Oh Well, there is a better week coming. 🙂 I hope everyone has a good healthy day!

  2. I lost inches, not pounds. I'm good with that. I'm SO excited everyone. I went to Lane Bryant yesterday and I went right to their smallest sizes for blouses!!! 14/16! WOOOHOOO!! And one of them was even too big. Now if I could get the bottom half of me that small lol. I'm just barely in a 16 if I suck it in enough. No more fat stores pretty soon! Old Navy here I come. (already can fit into their stuff on top)

  3. By the way, is anyone super excited about watching Biggest Loser? I'm getting really excited about watching it tonight. I think because it's the one I tried out for and it's just a really great season.

  4. The episode was great it shows you that if you stick to it you can really do this at home. It takes work and lots of it. It shows us anything worth having is worth (fighting, working) for.

  5. I won't get to watch Biggest Loser for the next 3 weeks. 😦 We are trying to adopt a child and we are having to attend parenting classes on Tuesday evenings. I was able to catch the last 10 minutes of it last night. My 7 year old watched it and filled me in on what happened, bless her little heart.

I hope everyone is having a great (and healthy) week!

  6. Thanks you-all. I do know her, we have been getting weekend visits with her for about 2 months now. She is 13 years old. Did anybody see the movie that came out about children in state custody? The name of it is "America". It is about a boy that ages (turns 18) out of the system and he doesn't have anybody, they just stop all services for these kids when they turn 18. It is so sad…we are hoping to adopt another child later as well. I can't stand the thought of these children being out there in this big world without anything but their clothes and nobody to even love them. We were already in the process of this when the movie came out but it sure did shed more light on it.

I will keep you-guys updated on the progress. She could be living with us within the next 2 or 3 weeks.

  7. And we already have kids now…but we would have a housefull and want more. We love kids. We have them ages 21, 19, 17, and 7. The 3 oldest ones are already out of the house. One is in nursing and 2 are marines. The house is too quite so it is a good time for this.

We need your prayers….we just lost one of our closest friends due to a heart attack…. we are shacken to the core… I'm stuck in NY for work and I am devastated…..

This confirms our resolution to get healthy and stay there….

  9. Lisa and Alex J you both are in our prayers, Leisia my daughter and I sat down and wathched America, we know several people that have adopted children and you a in our prayers also. Always reassure her that she is indeed loved. That's a very tender age for a young lady, mine just turned 14 and she is the baby and only girl.
