The above is the design for this year’s student summer missions trips. Every year we do something different; this year we went for something really simple (in past years there has been stuff on the front, back and sleeves of the shirt). It’s a fun souvenir from a summer mission trip, and hopefully as kids wear them around their friends will ask what it’s about (how often do you see Maine, Chicago and Ukraine lumped together???). I actually have a lot of fun designing shirts, but this probably took the most designs before I landed on something that my leaders all liked. Here are the other six that I came up with before this one; you can see I was alternating between a rescue theme (the Red Cross ones), grunge, a random harvest is ripe type theme, and the Prepare Go Live theme of our devotionals:
