I just received the following email update from our student mission trip to Costa Rica:
Hi all,
So sorry for our lack of communication, but access to a computer and internet has been a bit of a challenge. I´m typing on a spanish keyboard, and getting error message I cannot understand! Anyway, enough excuses!
We are having an awesome time doing God´s work in Costa RIca….
After a safe arrival on Monday, we immediately went to work on building a new house for a needy Chrisitan family. We built this house alongside the family, and the Homes For Hope team from YWAM in 3 days! You read correctly….3 Days! There are not enough words to describe this incredible experience, and we all cannot wait to tell you about. The YWAM and Homes for Hope teams have been tremendous hosts for us, and even made a DVD of this experience that they presented to us last evening.
We have also been doing a variety of outreach activities over the past several days including a prayer vigil in downtown Costa Rica, working with young children in an urban ministries traveling VBS, leading a Sunday School, painting a coffee house serving prostitutes, and others! It has been a busy and hard working time serving the Lord, and you should all be very proud of your children.
Thanks so much for entrusting you kids to us, and rest assured….the team is doing very well.
See you all when we get back to the US on Thursday!
Ed, Pat, Paul, Melissa, and Jeff.
