Well, it took me a day, but here’s the Sunday morning report! We had our Mother’s day service, which was nice. There was a baby dedication, which was the first time I had done one of those. For the service itself, I spoke on Proverbs 31, but I kept it pretty short because we focused on verse 28 which talks about children and husbands rising up and calling their moms and wives blessed. So then we used the rest of the service to let people stand up and talk about their moms and/or their wives. It was really good and by the end of it there were a bunch of moms crying. 🙂 Meanwhile, at the beginning of the service the nursery and the kids’ Sunday School class each had special music. Believe it or not, the nursery crowd (including Caleb) actually rocked the song during practice … and then forgot everything when they had a room full of people staring at them! Meanwhile, Micah’s class was a disaster during practice but really pulled it together during the service. I guess that’s the difference between a group where the average age is three and a group that has kids who can read! 🙂 They were pretty cute, though! My middle son, Caleb, is in the first group in the youtube video; my oldest, Micah, is in the second group. Enjoy!
