Our day out with Thomas the Train

On Friday we had a great family day at the Boothbay Railway Village which was playing host to the Day out with Thomas the Train event!  They actually bring in a life size Thomas the Train car and put it on the tracks in front of the real engine and then take kids for rides.  I thought all three of the boys were going to have a heart attack when we pulled in and they saw Thomas come chugging around the bend!  There were also lots of games, activities, a drum concert (where they all got to play the bongos – check out Caleb’s intensity!), and more.  All in all it was a great family day.  Rediculously over priced, but we’d do it again next year (actually, I’ve already promised the boys that we’d time our summer visit to Boothbay with Thomas the Train’s visit).  My mom also came along which the boys enjoyed a lot.  She got Micah & Noah railway men hats and Caleb a Thomas the Train t-shirt.  The kid has been carrying it around everywhere!  He’s very excited about it.  And even little baby Zachary came along and enjoyed his first train ride at only six days old.  I’m not sure if he was too impressed.
