Hello everyone! Life in the McNutt household is high energy! Yikes, four boys between the ages of five days and six years equals extreme insanity. Little Z came home on Monday and has been settling in … as best he can. Three older brothers poking at him all day long makes it a little challenging for him, but he manages to sleep through most of it!
I feel like I haven’t been blogging much lately; between getting ready for the big move, having a baby, and getting our house set to go on the market, I’ve been fried! Every time I sit down at the end of the day I end up falling asleep on the couch. Argh!
It’s starting to sink in that we’re moving soon; it’s sad looking around knowing that we’ll be saying goodbye in just a few weeks. I came home from youth group last night pretty bummed – I had a hard time going to sleep after hanging out with these kids that mean so much to us. I’m excited about what’s coming and it definitely is right with my calling and what I’m wired for … but it doesn’t make it any easier to say goodbye to a ministry that I’ve had the privilege of launching and being a part of for the last five years. I guess it would be a bad sign if it was easy to leave!
And if you’re wondering, I’m the one who bought Z the Green Lantern onesie. I’m raising men.
