Time for the Student Quest Sunday recap for August, 3rd, 2025!
We opened the hour with a game I made called Quote Clash; it’s some of my favorite movie quotes and it was an all-play game.
We had a few announcements/reminders:
- This is the last week of Mondo Mondays & Summer Nights; don’t miss out!
- Our night out at the Wilmington Blue Rocks is coming up fast (August 16th), signup online – there are limited tickets and once they’re gone, they’re gone!
- The Fall Retreats are coming! The high school retreat is September 5-7, the middle school retreat is September 19-21. You can register for one or both retreats here.
Eden taught our high school students this week, Ella taught middle school:
- Eden’s topic with the high school was Love vs Lust. A follow-up question for your kids that attended is: What are some practical ways that someone your age can “guard their heart” in today’s world?
- Ella’s topic with the middle school was Joy vs. Pride. A couple follow-up questions for your kids that attended are: Can you think of a time when pride led you to make a not-so-great choice? How could humility have changed that situation?
