I just got this email from Chris with a short update on the Chicago team:
Hey parents!
Wow, your kids are all so amazing. It’s hot here, and we have had some really long days of ministry, learning and driving. The kids aren’t complaining and are so willing to serve. I think this trip is a wake up call for everyone, leaders included. We’re learning so much about poverty/violence/oppression in Chicago and seeing ways God is moving. We still have 3 full days of ministry ahead, so we’re looking forward to all God will continue to do. We already have more than enough stories to do a report to the church! Everyone’s healthy so far and have really good attitudes. Thanks for your prayers.
