Time for the Student Quest Sunday recap for September 14th, 2025!
We opened the hour with Over Under: Football, a game I made. It’s a fun trivia game full of NFL records; I chose it in honor of the Eagles / Chiefs rematch that happened later that day. Go Birds!
We had a few announcements/reminders:
- Small Groups are in regular mode this week with middle school on Wednesday and high school on Thursday, 6:30-8:00pm.
- While the majority of the middle school students are on the retreat next weekend, Student Quest will still happen as a combined group in the Loft with our new time at 10am!
- Baptisms on the Retreats: students who want to be baptized on their fall retreat need to let us know ahead of time. Send me an email or call the church office so we can make it happen; families of students being baptized are invited to come to the retreat on Sunday morning if they want to be there for it!
I taught our high school students this week, Eden Foester taught middle school. The high school group was in the third week of our 1&2 Timothy series, middle school was in the fourth week of the series.
Here are a few follow-up questions to ask your kids this week based on the middle school lesson on 2 Timothy 3:14-16:
- How well does our family keep God’s Word in a place of importance in our lives?
- Where could we improve?
- How can we help you stay committed to knowing and living out God’s Word in your life?
Here are a few follow-up questions to ask your kids this week based on the high school lesson on 2 Timothy 2:22-24:
- As we think about our family, how well do we keep the peace among one another?
- How can we improve on the ways we seek peace in our home?
- Which relationships are the hardest for you to keep the peace in?
