Time for the Student Quest Sunday recap for April 26th, 2026! We played a trivia game I’m working on, Fact or Fake Round Three – basically, it’s a true/false game, but we were able to play it with the whole room, giving the person with the most right the prize! For our teaching time, we wrapped up our series from Coleader called Relationship Goals.
We had a few announcements/reminders:
- We have an app! It has all our events, updates, photos, social links, podcast feed, video feed, and more in one place! Currently available for iPhone, the android version is coming soon! You can download it here.
- Small groups: We can’t wait to see everyone Wednesday (middle school) and Thursday (high school) night, 6:30-8:00pm! We only have a few left!
- Construction is continuing with the church renovations! For the next month or so, students will only be able to get to small groups and the Sunday student hour through the main entrance. Just follow the signs to the student area!
We concluded our three week series called Relationship Goals. This three-week series is specifically designed to prepare our students for the world of dating relationships, offering them biblical wisdom and practical advice for building relationships that honor God. Pastor Matthew taught high school, Ryan Hayes taught middle school. This weeks message is called Love Like Jesus. The big idea? The more we get to know Jesus, the better equipped we are to love others like He does. This is the heart of a godly relationship. Here is a follow up question you can ask your student(s):
- How can understanding Jesus’ love for us help us love others in our relationships?
