Instead of a Sunday Recap, this week it’s a Summer Missions Information Meeting Recap! During our regular student hour we went over the process for participating in this year’s summer mission trips. Some of the major highlights to keep in mind are:
- Complete all Application Requirements for the Application to be considered on time.
- Please put all dates on your calendars now. If a student is unable to make a mandatory meeting, use the QR link on the application packet to let us know; this should be able to be done well in advance. Student work schedules are not a good reason to miss; students should give the dates to their workplaces now so they can have them off.
- Use an email and password for the application and Managed Missions that parents and students can access so you are able to track fundraising easily.
- Notify us early if struggling to find supporters for the required number of support letters.
- Our small group leaders receive a LOT of letters; send letters to your small group leaders, but avoid sending to youth leaders outside of your small group.
