Time for the Student Quest Sunday recap for March 29th, 2026! We opened with a game I created, Mind Reader Easter. I love this particular game series; it involves a kid up front … and the rest of the room. For our teaching time, we wrapped up the series from Coleader preparing for Easter called Done.
We had a few announcements/reminders:
- There are NO small groups or Awana for the next two weeks; enjoy your spring breaks!
- We rescheduled the bonfire that was rained out in the fall for THIS Saturday, 5-8pm, at Ed and Ruth Jones’ house. It’s for middle school and high school. Click here for more information and their address.
- Construction has begun on the church renovations! For the next month or so, students will only be able to get to small groups and the Sunday student hour through the main entrance. Just follow the signs to the student area!
We finished our series Done. This four-week Easter series will help students embrace the completeness of God’s work in their lives, realizing that His love, Christ’s sacrifice, and their purpose are already accomplished realities. Ella Johnson taught high school, Olivia Treml taught middle school. This weeks message is called Jesus Has ALREADY Won. The big idea? We’re fighting from a place of victory, not for victory. Here are a couple follow up questions you can ask your student(s):
- Have you ever felt like you had to prove yourself to someone? What was that like?
- What did you learn in the message about what Jesus has already done for you?
You can watch both lessons below, or you can listen to them on our podcast feed:
