Time for the Student Quest Sunday recap for December 28th, 2025! We opened the hour with the New Year’s edition of Would You Rather? It was a fun way to finish out the year! We had two announcements:
- No student small groups or Awana this week – have fun with your family on New Year’s Eve!
- Student Led Worship Night, Sunday, January 4th, 7:00-8:30pm, in the gym. All students and their friends are invited to come out to our special worship night as we kick off the new year together!
We kicked off a new series today called Keep it Simple. Eden Foester taught high school, Tanner Braselton taught middle school. We have a tendency to make things a little more complicated than they need to be. In this series, we want to encourage students to keep it simple by focusing on the main things God wants us most focused on. The big idea this week was that Faith is a Decision.
Here are some follow up questions you can ask your student(s):
- Why might it be scary to follow God down a path when you don’t necessarily know where it’ll take you? How do you think you would handle this type of uncertainty?
