Sunday Recap | February 22

Time for the Student Quest Sunday recap for February 22nd, 2026! We played Boomer Say What?, an oldie but a goodie. We gave away Renew Student Conference t-shirts to the winners!

We had a few announcements/reminders:

  • Don’t miss small groups this week! Middle School on Wednesday, High School on Thursday, both 6:30-8:00pm.
  • The Renew Student Conference is coming! It’s going to be absolutely amazing this year with amazing teaching, great worship, and America’s Got Talent winner Dustin Tavella performing Friday night! More information here.
  • Construction has begun on the church renovations! For the next month or so, students will only be able to get to small groups and the Sunday student hour through the west wing (gym) parking lot entrance. The Connection Cafe area will be worked on so people will not be able to pass through that area.

Today was a stand alone lesson called ‘What Does the Bible Say About Diversity?’ Eden Foester taught high school, Noah McNutt taught middle school. Here is the summary and a follow up questions you can ask your student(s):

We looked at a conversation between the Apostle Peter and a Roman Official named Cornelius that is found in Acts 10. The passage challenged our students to see and celebrate the incredible diversity that is found in God’s family. The big idea is that God’s family is bigger than we can imagine.

  • Do you think it’s important for Christians to lead the way in building diverse and inclusive communities? What might that look like?

You can watch both lessons below, or you can listen to them on our podcast feed:
